King Pine Ski Area Announces New Leadership Hires to Strengthen Guest Experience and On-Mountain Operations

E. MADISON, N.H. — King Pine Ski Area is pleased to announce several new leadership appointments that reinforce its commitment to exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and the continued growth of its family-friendly mountain. 

The new leadership team includes Kasia Scontsas, Director of Skier Services; Chris DiStefano, Director of Facilities; and Jeremy Hall, Director of Guest Services for Hoyt Family properties.

“These leaders each bring a deep sense of purpose, professionalism, and care for the guest experience,” said Amanda Buswell, Regional General Manager of Hoyt Family Businesses. 

“King Pine has always been about creating meaningful, welcoming experiences for families, and these additions demonstrate our continued investment in people who elevate our operations, support our teams, and help ensure every guest feels at home on the mountain.”

Kasia Scontsas, Director of Skier Services

A familiar face to many returning guests, Kasia Scontsas steps into her new role after several seasons supporting school groups, ski instructors, and families across the mountain. With a background spanning video production, marketing design, and hospitality, Scontsas brings a creative, detail-oriented approach to skier services operations.

Originally from Europe, her global upbringing shaped a people-first philosophy grounded in cultural understanding and genuine welcome. During the off-season, she also supports the Hoyt Family portfolio by caring for the gardens at Danforth Bay Campground & RV Resort.

Chris DiStefano, Director of Facilities and Projects

Chris DiStefano serves as Director of Facilities and Projects, overseeing facility operations across Hoyt Family properties, including King Pine Ski Area, Purity Spring Resort, and Danforth Bay Campground & RV Resort. With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality facility management, he has led teams across resort properties of varying size and complexity, with a focus on safety, reliability, and long-term capital planning.

Most recently, DiStefano served as Facility Manager at Danforth Bay Campground & RV Resort, where he built a high-performing facilities team centered on proactive maintenance, efficient work order systems, and thoughtful execution of capital projects. Prior to returning to New Hampshire, he worked in Telluride, Colorado, supporting ski resort operations and contributing to the restoration of The Peaks Resort & Spa in collaboration with a local ownership group. His background also includes serving as Director of Facilities and Construction for Pelican Brewing and affiliated brewery-hotel properties along the Oregon Coast, part of the Nestucca Family of Companies.

Jeremy Hall, Director of Guest Services

Jeremy Hall serves as Director of Guest Services across Hoyt Family properties, including King Pine Ski Area, Danforth Bay Campground & RV Resort, and Purity Spring Resort. His hospitality career includes leadership roles in restaurants, hotels, and family-run businesses, shaping a practical, people-focused leadership style grounded in communication, clarity, and consistency.

Originally from Massachusetts and now based in New Hampshire, Hall works closely with teams across properties to ensure a welcoming, reliable experience for guests and staff at every Hoyt Family destination.

Together, these leadership appointments position King Pine Ski Area for continued growth while honoring its roots as a community-centered, family-friendly mountain dedicated to lifelong outdoor enjoyment.
